22. Ribbon Basics by Mary Jo Hiney & Joy Anckner

This is a project book and when you finished all the projects, you can be sure you know all the stitches in ribbon work.

Although I have not done serious ribbonwork before, I think this book lacks the convenient step-by-step diagrams we now see in most books and magazines. I think one should already have knowledge of the stitch names on basic embroidery, since they are also applied to ribbon embroidery, among with exclusive ribbonwork techniques.

Ribbon Basics

Each Letter of the english alphabet is used as the main theme, and flowers which names starts with that letter are shown.
